Calcium formate accelerates the hydration of cement and improves early strength in mortars, grouts and concrete. It is particularly useful in low-temperature applications where normal setting and strength gain can be slow.
As a chloride-free accelerator, it is suitable for systems where steel reinforcement or appearance requirements make chloride-containing accelerators unsuitable.
